Ideal for bonding waterproof fabrics, fleece linings and elastic bands. Its wash resistance and temperature adaptability ensure no delamination after repeated use and cleaning, perfectly matching the durability demands of outdoor and sports apparel.
● Home Textiles
Suitable for laminating curtains, sofa covers and bed linens. It retains the fabrics’ softness without stiffening, and its aging resistance prevents bonding failure from long-term sunlight exposure or frequent washing.
● Intimate Apparel & Baby Clothing
Complies with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class I, making it safe for underwear, baby rompers and bibs. It bonds delicate fabrics gently without irritating skin, while maintaining flexibility for comfortable wearing.
● Medical Textiles
Perfect for disposable surgical gowns, wound dressings and medical bed sheets. Its solvent-free formula avoids harmful VOC emissions, and its strong adhesion withstands sterilization processes to ensure reliable performance.
1. Pre-use Preparation (5–10 mins)
Power on the equipment and set heating temperature to 120–140℃ (follow adhesive technical specs).
Wait 15 mins for temperature stabilization; confirm no abnormal noise or leakage.
Check fabric material and clean the coating roller to avoid impurities affecting bonding effect.
2. Adhesive Loading & Application (3–5 mins per batch)
Load solid PUR adhesive sticks into the hopper; ensure continuous and smooth feeding.
Select application mode (rolling/spraying/dot coating) based on textile type.
Adjust coating speed to 3–5m/min for uniform adhesive film thickness (0.1–0.2mm recommended).
3. Bonding & Curing (Key Step)
Laminate fabrics immediately after coating and apply 0.2–0.3MPa pressure for 10–20s.
Place bonded textiles in a well-ventilated area (20–25℃, 50–60% humidity) for 24h full curing.
Avoid water washing or high-temperature ironing during curing.
4. Post-operation Notes
Turn off power and clean residual adhesive in the hopper/roller with professional cleaning agent.
Store unused adhesive in a sealed, dry environment to prevent moisture absorption.
For troubleshooting, refer to the equipment manual or contact technical support.
Q: In addition to equipment supply, does your factory provide other services?
A: FLEX Machinery Co., Ltd. not only supplies customers with high-quality and cost-effective machines, but also offers a range of services according to the customer's needs, including adhesive formula technical support, full-process production guidance, as well as overseas machine installation and commissioning services.
Q: What is the optimal curing condition for this adhesive?
A: Cure at 20–25℃ with 50–60% humidity for 24h. Ensure good ventilation; avoid water contact or high temperature during the period for stable bonding effect.
Q: Can this adhesive bond all types of textiles?
A: It works well with most fabrics like cotton, polyester, leather and non-wovens. For special coated textiles, test compatibility with a small sample before mass application.
Q: How to store unused PUR adhesive?
A: Store in a sealed, dry and cool place below 25℃, away from moisture and sunlight. Unsealed adhesive should be used up within 48h to prevent moisture absorption and curing failure.
Q: Does the adhesive affect the handfeel of textiles?
A: No. Its flexible formula maintains the original soft handfeel of fabrics after curing, without causing stiffness or hardening at the bonded areas.
