Detailed Operation Guide for Block Hot Melt Adhesive Production Line
• Pre-Operation Preparation
1. Raw Material Inspection: Confirm EVA/PE/PP/rubber-based raw materials are dry (moisture content ≤0.5%), free of impurities, and meet formula requirements; crush lumps to 5-10mm particles for smooth feeding.
2. Equipment Check: Inspect 304 stainless steel feeding hopper, extrusion screw, and cutting blade for wear; verify electrical connections, air pressure (0.6-0.8MPa), and cooling system circulation.
3. Safety Preparation: Wear heat-resistant gloves, goggles, and anti-slip shoes; ensure emergency stop button is functional and ventilation system is on.
• Parameter Setting
1. Power on the PLC intelligent control panel, select the corresponding formula program (or customize).
2. Set melting temperature (120-180℃ based on raw material), extrusion speed (10-30rpm), mixing time (5-10 mins), and block dimensions (length/width/thickness per demand).
3. Activate preheating and wait for temperature to stabilize (±1℃ deviation allowed) – indicated by the panel’s green light.
• Startup & Operation (Continuous)
1. Start the feeding system first, then the extrusion and mixing unit; ensure raw materials enter the melting chamber evenly.
