50-100L Laboratory Stainless Steel Reactor Mixer: Supplemental Application Scenarios
1. Hot Melt Adhesive R&D & Small-Batch Production
Suitable for melting, blending and modifying hot melt adhesives (EVA, POE-based). Its jacket heating system precisely controls temperature at 140-185℃, matching the melting process requirements. The high-efficiency stirring ensures uniform dispersion of waxes, resins and functional additives, improving adhesive viscosity stability by 20% and meeting the needs of formula optimization and small-batch trial production.
2. Shoe Adhesive Formulation & Preparation
Ideal for developing PU shoe glue, acrylic shoe glue and two-component AB shoe glue. It solves the problem of uneven mixing of high-viscosity shoe glue materials, with stepless speed regulation adapting to viscosity changes during low-temperature quick-drying processes. The leak-proof sealing structure prevents solvent volatilization, ensuring consistent bonding strength and meeting environmental protection standards for shoe material production.
3. Acrylic Resin & Monomer Synthesis
Applied in laboratory-scale polymerization of acrylic resins and monomers (such as acrylic ester copolymers). It precisely controls the reaction temperature at 80-160℃ with ±0.5℃ accuracy, avoiding polymerization runaway. The inert gas protection and uniform stirring system ensure stable molecular weight distribution of products, supporting R&D of coatings, pressure-sensitive adhesives and photoresist resins.
4. Scientific Research & Teaching
Core equipment for universities and research institutes in chemical engineering, materials science and environmental science. Supports reaction kinetics research and process parameter optimization. Data recording/export functions facilitate experimental teaching and frontier scientific research verification.
5. New Materials Development
Used in preparing lithium battery electrode slurries, graphene modification and polymer synthesis. Supports high-temperature/pressure reactions and inert gas protection. Adjustable stirring speeds adapt to high-viscosity systems, ensuring uniform particle size and stable performance of new materials.
Stick Hot Melt Adhesive Production Line
Operation Guide
1. Pre-Startup Preparation:
Power on the main switch, check if the cooling water circulates normally, and ensure safety guards of extruder/cutter are closed. Confirm raw materials
(EVA/PO/PUR) are dry and free of impurities.
2. Parameter Setting:
Via HMI, input melting temp (80-220℃ based on material), stick size (diameter 7-11mm), and production speed. Save preset parameters for
common formulas.
3. Material Feeding:
Add raw materials to the hopper evenly. Avoid overloading; the system will auto-alert if material level is too low/high.
4. Production Monitoring:
Start the line, observe real-time data (temp, speed, qualification rate). Pause immediately if stick shape is abnormal or alarms sound.
5. Shutdown & Maintenance:
Empty the hopper first, then stop heating. After cooling to 50℃, power off. Clean the hopper and extrusion port to prevent residue caking.
Step-by-Step Operation Guide for 50-100L Lab Stainless Steel Reactor Mixer
Step 1: Pre-Operation Inspection
Before powering on, check the equipment comprehensively: verify the integrity of the mechanical seal and gasket, ensure the stirring shaft rotates smoothly without jamming, and confirm the temperature control system, pressure gauge, and safety valves are functional. Ensure the power supply matches the equipment’s voltage requirements (220V/380V) to avoid malfunctions.
Step 2: Material Loading
Open the feed port cover (or use the feeding funnel) and add pre-prepared materials slowly. Do not exceed 80% of the tank’s volume to prevent overflow during stirring. For viscous materials (e.g., hot melt adhesive base materials), preheat appropriately to facilitate smooth loading.
Step 3: Parameter Setting
Via the touchscreen PLC, set the target temperature (range: -20℃ to 250℃) and stirring speed (0-600 RPM) according to the reaction requirements. Select the heating/cooling mode (jacket or coil) and enable inert gas protection if needed (e.g., acrylic resin synthesis) to prevent oxidation.
Step 4: Startup & Operation Monitoring
Click the "Start" button to initiate the reactor. Observe the stirring status, temperature rise/fall rate, and pressure changes in real-time via the sight glass and instrument panel. Adjust parameters slightly if uneven mixing or abnormal temperature fluctuations occur; stop immediately if leaks or unusual noises are detected.
Step 5: Shutdown & Discharging
After the reaction is complete, first stop the stirring system, then turn off the heating/cooling device. Wait for the temperature to drop to ≤60℃ and pressure to return to normal before opening the discharge valve. For adhesive materials (e.g., shoe glue), ensure the discharge port is fully cleaned to avoid residue buildup.
Step 6: Post-Operation Cleaning & Maintenance
Rinse the tank with clean water or a suitable solvent (compatible with SUS304/316L stainless steel) to remove material residues. Wipe the outer surface dry and check the seal and stirring shaft for wear. Store the equipment in a dry, well-ventilated area after maintenance.
