Excellent Initial Tack & Fast Curing
This PUR hot melt adhesive provides strong initial tack and fast curing speed, greatly improving production efficiency for automatic edge banding machines. It forms stable initial bonding quickly, reducing waiting time and ensuring smooth operation on high-speed production lines. Suitable for continuous mass production, it effectively shortens processing cycles and improves overall output.
Ultra-High Bonding Strength & Stability
Featuring outstanding bonding strength, this PUR edge banding adhesive firmly bonds wood, MDF, particleboard, PVC, ABS, acrylic, and veneer materials. After complete curing, its peel resistance and shear strength are much higher than ordinary EVA hot melt adhesives, effectively avoiding edge lifting, cracking, or falling off in long-term use.
Superior Waterproof & Moisture Resistance
This waterproof PUR hot melt adhesive forms a dense, non-porous bonding layer after curing, with excellent waterproof and moisture-proof performance. It maintains stable bonding even in humid environments such as kitchens and bathrooms, preventing glue failure caused by moisture penetration and greatly extending the service life of furniture.
Outstanding Heat & Cold Resistance
With excellent temperature resistance, this wood edge banding adhesive performs stably under high temperature and low temperature conditions. It does not soften or deform in heat, nor become brittle or crack in cold, ensuring reliable bonding performance in different climates and usage scenarios.
Fine Glue Line & Aesthetic Finishing
This PUR hot melt adhesive delivers uniform glue application and a fine, clean glue line, greatly improving the appearance of furniture edge banding. It reduces glue overflow, burrs, and discoloration, achieving a seamless, high-grade finish ideal for high-gloss panels, customized cabinets, and high-end furniture.

Operating Instructions for PUR Hot Melt Adhesive
1.Preheat the glue tank to 110–130°C and keep temperature stable. Wait until the PUR hot melt adhesive melts completely and evenly, avoid overheating to prevent performance degradation.
2.Adjust glue coating thickness, feeding speed and pressure according to panel thickness and edge band material, ensure uniform and stable glue application.
3.Run the edge banding machine automatically: panel feeding → gluing → pressing → trimming → end cutting, keep the conveyor speed stable for better bonding.
4.After production, seal the glue tank and feeding system tightly to prevent PUR from contacting moisture. Clean the nozzle and roller in time to maintain stable operation.
1. What is the suitable working temperature?
Recommended melting temperature is 110–130°C. Stable temperature ensures good fluidity and bonding strength. Overheating will shorten service life and reduce adhesion performance.
2. How to store PUR hot melt adhesive?
Store in a dry, cool place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Unopened packages can be stored for 6–12 months. Sealed preservation is critical to avoid reaction with moisture in air.
3. What materials can it bond?
It bonds well with wood, MDF, particleboard, plywood, PVC, ABS, acrylic and veneer edge bands. Widely used for various furniture edge banding with high bonding strength.
4. How to improve edge banding effect?
Ensure uniform glue coating, proper pressure and stable feeding speed. Keep the surface clean and dry. Good operation helps avoid edge lifting, glue lines or overflow.
5. Why is PUR better than ordinary EVA?
PUR has higher bonding strength, better waterproof, heat and cold resistance. It forms a durable chemical bond, not easy to fail in high humidity or extreme temperature environments.
